Handwriting is taught using the Little Wandle Phonics Scheme at KS1.
Each of the letter sounds documents has a ‘formation’ section to show how to fomr the letter correctly.
From Year 2, children are taught to use cursive script using the Collins Primary Focus Handwriting Scheme and are expected to use cursive writing in their written work.
